You can be confident no matter what happens by being foolish. Then you realize that by acting like an arrogant person with a certain body language, you will get beaten by people.

I tried this in real life - now I'm unemployed, my girlfriend left me, my friends call me arrogant, but I'm still confident

You do not have to be confident all the time in all situations.

Can you be confident if you are now caught by terrorists? Try changing your body language to project confidence. They will shoot your butt.

You can lose confidence in seconds. For instance, you are driving from your office to your home at night. There is a car in front of you. It stops suddenly. Your car's brake is broken. You can not stop. But you remember that you need to be non-reactive and stay confident no matter what. So instead of panicking, you relax and die.

Rich and famous people walk around in public with dozens of bodyguards. Do you know why? Because they are so confident in their security. No, no, no. They bring those bodyguards with them because they are not confident that nothing will happen to them. Somebody may kill them. This is why being confident no matter what happens is stupid.

When I was in a classroom as a college student, someone got angry with me. This guy, who was and is still my friend, stood up and pushed a table strongly, and made it fall down. Everybody was surprised, including me. I still sat down, and he walked away. I was still relaxed, not because I was watching YouTube videos about being confident. I was calm because I understood that my friends and I were acting and playing drama in front of a classroom.

See? Nobody who uses their brain is confident no matter what happens. How can you believe that you will be okay no matter what?

If you are not confident, it is a sign that you are careful and admit that you are not in charge of the situation. That is normal.

Stop giving yourself the pressure that you need to be confident no matter what. Be smart!

I was manspreading on the bus to act more confident and I ended up getting slapped again.
